It’s time for week three in my new series, Interior Design Style Files, and this week we’re talking Modern Glam. This style, closest to where my heart currently lies, marries two popular design styles, Mid Century Modern from the 1950’s and 1960’s, and the ultra glam Hollywood Regency style of the 1930’s, into one striking, shimmering, eye catching conglomeration of opposing styles. Take the clean lines of Mid Century Modern furniture and add in the luxurious fabrics and finishes of the Hollywood era, such as marble and brass, and you’ve got yourself the Modern Glam interior design style.
