As my baby girl is heading off to two day a week preschool this year (ah, she’s growing up too fast!), I will be filling up some of that time by taking on more interior projects for clients. I thought some of you might enjoy seeing the design of a room from idea phase to completion.

I will soon be starting this master bedroom renovation with my dear friend Megan. She and her husband Dave plan to replace the carpet, paint, start from scratch with all new furniture and light fixtures, and Megan is even going to scrape the popcorn ceilings! Because there is a DIY component to this room, it won’t happen overnight, but I will keep you posted as progress continues.

Like a lot of people, Megan can easily recognize a room she likes, but she wasn’t sure exactly what her style was, so she enlisted my help. A post is coming soon on how I used Pinterest to help determine what she really wanted in the space, but for now, I’m going to leave you with the inspiration board we are working from.
